Your url made me smile. I'd say that's a good think. I went through Stratten's Bootcamp when it was fairly new. I think if anyone actually makes the effort to follow his advice they won't have "competition" online. That is one thing that he emphasizes. If you are authentic, if you be yourself, you have no competition. He's right, I work with him because I like his attitude;) Glad you enjoyed the post.

Good work on dropping BF and weight, Lis.

I've been pretty big into health & nutrition for the past 6 years or so, reading all the latest journals, frequenting fitness boards, etc...

The thing that has always worked is calories in vs. calories out. Take in less calories than you burn. Some people make such a big deal about everything they over analyze how to lose weight.

Recently, I started doing Intermittent Fasting (eating one or two HUGE meals a day, going against everything everybody says about eat smaller more frequent meals throughout the day to keep the metabolism running, which is false) eating Paleo Style (lean meats, fresh fruits and veggies which I love) and have dropped probably around 35 pounds in around 3 months.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for sharing that! I've never heard it put that way. But that seems to ring true. I'll have to think about that some more.

I think I watched this video at least three times...I have a little obsession with conquering my fears/living outside my comfort zone so it's right up my alley.

Hi Lis, I think Tim Ferriss is one of the a prime examples of lifestyle design. He has gone through so much in terms of being an entrepreneur, traveling around the world, and accomplishing the impossible.

His message of fear is profound, "What's the worst that can happen?" We can get a lot from facing our fears, as he shows us in through his experiences of swimming, learning Japanese, and doing ballroom dancing. Thanks for sharing this video!

Happiness can be equated to how you feel about yourself. The more confident you are, the more you are able to see the brighter side of life.
